On November 14, 2009, an Undercover Special Ops Team raided Formal Elegance, an upscale bridal shop, for providing refreshments to adult customers...2oz.of orange juice with a teaspoon of champagne...also known as THE MIMOSA. The owner, who was also a city council member of a neighboring city, was frisked, handcuffed, and hauled away in a squad car in front of 25-35 customers. The public was outraged at the way the situation was handled during this personal, business, and political attack on the owner. Eventually charges were dismissed... but never forgotten... and will go down in history as the INFAMOUS MIMOSA RAID on Formal Elegance.
